Job Description

The Commercial Manager is responsible for defining and implementing the sales strategies, organizing the trade events and meetings accordingly, optimize operation and resources, and ensure the realization of sales and profit targets following the performance to the commercial team. The Commercial Manager must be capable of providing strong leadership and management to enable the company achieve continued revenue growth. He will be accountable for leading all aspects of the company operations, related to stores. These involve developing, execute, and motivate others on strategies, tactics, measurements, and operating mechanisms. Responsibilities: • Manages the strategic growth and operational objectives with a strategic & analytical approach for the whole region • Ensure financial targets are met. Take full ownership and accountability over the shops' P&L account • Provides leadership, coaching and guidance to the regional commercial team for Brand Measures the success of targeted programs and operational improvement initiatives against goals and objectives • Works with the commercial, operations and finance teams to design and implements new strategies to leverage existing business, penetrates new markets to develop further revenue streams (including expansion opportunities) • Ensures that the whole region has the right structure and leadership to enhance the company's presence and positioning • Is up-to-date about market trends, opportunities and challenges in Saudi Arabia (including macroeconomics, social, cultural, political aspects, competitors analysis, customer needs) • Leads the pricing strategy definition and implementation • Ensures the organization is well positioned to deliver excellent quality service; to optimize operations; and to increase market share in the whole region • Corporate and brand values ambassador and point of reference for the organization • Ensure the terms, conditions and rules of the franchise and lease agreements are duly implemented and respected Duties: • Develops short and long-term business plans, forecasts and budgets; ensures targets are continually met and budgets managed to forecasts • Overlook, follow up and improve main operations of the Brand stores in the whole region: Customer service New systems (e.g., RFID, new tills) Stores overall image (facilities, merchandising, staff, etc.) Stock management (warehousing needs, customs, transportation) and overall product management (e.g., KPis, ranking, rotation, sales levels) Management and stores' personnel structure • Identifies cost saving and sales increase opportunities (stores' operational efficiencies) • Guarantee that all available resources to support store operation respond to the store needs (staff, store facilities, utilities, store image, etc.) • Identify best practices and create an environment where the knowledge is transferred/shared among all regional team members, including country managers • Assess the market potential and identify expansion opportunities and renovation works, in collaboration with country and real estate managers • Overlook openings and operation works: define general plan, assign responsibilities and follow up· implementation in all aspects (design, construction, product) • Define expectations (position role and responsibilities) of the commercial team (DTs, VMs, window dressers) and current performance. Develop team members accordingly, to increase their contribution to the stores • Develop and manage relationships with all parties that impact Brand stores, such as: external suppliers, Corporate departments (functions) .
