  • Job Description:
    • Typical Responsibilities Deliver efficient and engaging functional training sessions (both in-person and virtually) on Amadeus products. Develop and update training materials, ensuring they align with the latest Amadeus software updates and industry standards. Analyze adult learning methods and adapt teaching techniques to suit various participant profiles. Provide hands-on practice activities and real-time delivery exercises to build participant confidence. Evaluate participant performance through assessments and provide constructive feedback. Handle challenging classroom situations and participant behaviors professionally. Collaborate with the customer support team and account managers to address specific client training needs. Stay current with all aspects of the travel industry, including international air ticketing, fare construction, and interline auditing tools.
  • Desired Skills and Experience:
    • Key Skills and Qualifications Experience: Significant experience (typically 2+ years) as a travel agent, airline ticketing agent, or in a similar role using the Amadeus system (both cryptic and graphic interfaces). Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Amadeus functionalities, including PNR (Passenger Name Record) creation and modification, queue management, fare displays, pricing, e-ticketing (issuing, revalidating, reissuing, refunding), and EMDs (Electronic Miscellaneous Documents). Certifications: Relevant Amadeus certifications, such as the Amadeus Certified Professional: Reservations and Ticketing badge, are highly valued. Communication: Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex systems clearly. Training Acumen: Knowledge of effective training techniques, evaluation system design, and the ability to train other trainers. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to help trainees troubleshoot issues within the GDS environment.
